Its white sand and crystalline waters offer a very different landscape to the one we are used to seeing in the northern beaches where the reddish colors of the land predominate (as occurs, for example, in Cavaller\u00eda or Pregonda).<\/p>\n<p>Cala Presili is integrated as part of the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls route that runs from the Fav\u00e0ritx lighthouse to Es Grau. header_2_font_size_phone=&#8221;28px&#8221; header_2_font_size_last_edited=&#8221;on|phone&#8221; locked=&#8221;off&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"Cuerpo\"><span lang=\"ES-TRAD\">Cala Presili in Menorca, how to get there?<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Access to this cove can only be made on foot (or by bike), or through the sea.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the <strong>Cam\u00ed de Cavalls<\/strong>, we will see that Cala Presili is part of the route of its second stage that goes from Es Grau to the Fav\u00e0ritx lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this case, to follow the shortest route, we will have to start from Fav\u00e0ritx (which can be reached from Mah\u00f3n by the Me-7, following the signs indicating the detours to Carretera de Fav\u00e0ritx \/ CF-1). The walk from the lighthouse to Cala Presili is about 30 minutes and, although it is not particularly complex to perform, we must remember to take with us water and appropriate footwear, as there are no services available along the way and the route is rocky.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">To get to Fav\u00e0ritx we can also take the <strong>bus<\/strong> line <strong>43*<\/strong> that leaves from Mah\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The indications that will take you to Cala Presili are clear, but we must always follow the signposted path. From the Fav\u00e0ritx lighthouse, we will take the Camamil-la detour, where we will see the signs indicating the route to get to Presili (which we will find first), and also to its neighboring Cala Tortuga (located just below, about 5 minutes more on foot).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Cuerpo\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you are a water sports lover, you can also reach the cove by <strong>kayak<\/strong> (there are rental companies in Es Grau that will allow you to do so). It is the price to pay for the tranquility offered by its location (away from the hustle and bustle).<\/p>\n<p>However, that does not mean that there are not numerous entertainments that we can enjoy in its waters. To begin with, the practice of water sports is a great attraction of this beach because the clarity and transparency of its waters, coupled with the presence of posidonia characteristic of all areas that are framed within the limits of s&#8217;Albufera des Grau, make it an ideal place for snorkeling or scuba diving.<\/p>\n<p>If we prefer hiking, its integration within the Cam\u00ed de Cavalls, make it a perfect starting point for excursions and get to know better the north of the island. Depending on how motivated we are, we can decide to walk only a small section of the road and visit, for example, its neighboring beach Cala Tortuga; or we can do the entire stage that runs from Fav\u00e0ritx to Es Grau and pass through incredible places like Cala Tamarells, Cala Rambles (with its eighteenth-century defense tower, Sa Torreta) or Cala en Cavaller. We can stop to appreciate the landscapes and birds that are hidden in the limits of s&#8217;Albufera des Grau; or marvel at the view of Illa d&#8217;en Colom on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>In Cala Presili we will find the best of both worlds: the paradisiacal landscapes of the south that its beach offers us, with the characteristic tranquility of the north of the island that reigns around it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Why should Presili be a mandatory stop?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit; font-weight: normal;\">In the Caribbean landscape that offers this Menorcan cove, we find many reasons why it is worth visiting Presili, but as it is impossible to mention them all, we have selected three that will surely convince you<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">1. A remote beach, very accessible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Despite being a secluded cove, the way to reach it is not long (in less than 30 minutes on foot you can be enjoying its waters) and it is not complicated because, in addition to the signage to find it is very clear, the terrain does not present great difficulties or pose a great challenge (even if we are not great athletes or are not accustomed to hiking). And, thanks to being a little more secluded, we will find a tranquility that would be unthinkable in many Minorcan coves, allowing you to rest, relax and unwind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">2. We will continue through the port until we reach the open sea (up to Punta de Sant Carles).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this point, we will leave the San Carlos lighthouse to starboard, and continue to port along the coast (heading NE). We will pass La Mola and Punta de S&#8217;Espero, to advance in a NW direction (always sailing with the coast to port).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will pass Cap Negre, Punta de Sa Galera and, finally, Punta de sa Cudia. On the port side we will see an inlet that leads to Es Grau and in front we will have Illa d&#8217;en Colom. We will have to overcome it leaving it on the port side and we will continue in NW direction until we overcome the Cap de Mossen Vives and the Escull den Tortuga.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the bow we will see the Cap de Fav\u00e0ritx and its unmistakable lighthouse and, to port, past the Cap de ses Piques, we will find Cala Tortuga and, just after, Cala Presili (the closest cove to Fav\u00e0ritx).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If we want to anchor in its waters, we should not go too far into the coast (due to its shallow depth) and it is advisable to approach from the sides of the cove (to avoid the rocky area in the center).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important never to exceed the buoy line and to be cautious with the numerous
