Son Parc offers a breathtaking view that is worth witnessing first hand.<\/p>\n<p>But, in addition to its scenery, its amenities stand out above all: easy access, a multitude of services, restaurants and activities around it and qualities that make it ideal to enjoy it with the family.<\/p>\n<p>All this could lead us to think that finding a hole in the sand of Son Parc must be an almost impossible task. However, its size makes it relatively easy to find free places where you can enjoy a day at the beach without being crowded.<\/p>\n<p>However, if we want to spend a day in Son Saura, we should be aware of the weather forecast, because its direct exposure to the north makes it especially susceptible to inclement weather and, if the north wind blows, the calm that usually reigns in its waters will disappear to make way for a rough sea that can become dangerous for children (becoming, however, a paradise for kitesurfers).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>A &#8220;dune&#8221; paradise on the verge of extinction<\/h2>\n<p>The dune field that populates Son Parc was on the verge of disappearing not many years ago. Uncontrolled construction and the constant flow of tourists have pushed them to the extreme.<\/p>\n<p>However, they are now protected and thanks to conservation work, the installation of wooden walkways and the delimitation of restricted access areas, the dunes are beginning to recover and are on their way to regaining the splendor that characterized them in the past.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.16&#8243; We will continue through the port until we reach the open sea (up to Punta de Sant Carles).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At this point, we will leave the San Carlos lighthouse to starboard, and continue to port along the coast (heading NE) where we will pass La Mola and Punta de S&#8217;Espero, to continue in a NW direction (always sailing with the coast to port).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We will pass Cap Negre, Punta de Sa Galera and, finally, Punta de sa Cudia. On the port side we will see an inlet that leads to Es Grau and in front we will have Illa d&#8217;en Colom. We will have to overcome it leaving it on the port side and continue in a NW direction until we pass the Cap de Mossen Vives and the Escull den Tortuga. From the bow we will see the Cap de Fav\u00e0ritx and its unmistakable lighthouse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Skirting the Fav\u00e0ritx point, we will sail in a NW direction until we see the Addaia islands. We will pass them on the port side and continue until we reach Punta Grossa, which we will leave on the port side to continue in a W direction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sailing in this position, we will see Cap Gros from the bow.
