Punta Prima Beach

The air beach

Punta Prima beach is also known as Playa del Aire beach. The origin of its first name is clear, it refers to its proximity to the rocky outcrop of the same name, but what is the origin of the name “playa del aire”?

Well, this is heaven on earth. All kinds of services around and, in front of it, the imposing Illa de l’Aire emerges. A quiet place, with shallow bottoms and gentle waves (ideal to go with the little ones of the house).

Unfortunately, the buildings that occupy an entire side of the beach attract attention. The excessive constructions could have taken away this little piece of heaven, but, fortunately, that never happened. This is still a paradise of white sand with unparalleled crystal clear waters… Swimming in this beach is like swimming among gold dust and bright turquoise.
